ABOUT THE COFFEES
Colombia Edwin Zambrano— A 2024 Good Food Award Winner, this stellar coffee from Edwin Zambrano is bursting with fresh flavors of orange juice, pineapple, strawberry, and cacao. Edwin, owner of Finca Buenavista, hand-selects the best coffee cherries every year to create this micro-lot. To amplify their natural sweetness, the cherries are immersed in water tanks for over 60 hours, then sun-dried on raised beds until absolutely perfect.
Costa Rica Finca El Desafio —A 2023 Good Food Award Winner, 2024 Silver Golden Bean Medalist, & 2023 Bronze Golden Bean Medalist—Finca El Desafio, grown by the Ureñas family, is an outstanding coffee with tropical notes of plum, mandarin orange, and banana. This impressive coffee was created using the unique Villa Sarchí coffee plant varietal, known for its vibrant fruitiness, as well as a full honey processing method—a technique that the Ureñas family has mastered.
1% Goes To Bridge Project (Uplifting Moms and Babies)
Now, every time you purchase one of our bags of coffee, 1% goes directly to uplifting young moms and their families. Through our Give Back Program we are partnering with the Bridge Project of NY, an organization that provides low-income mothers with cash during pregnancy, birth, and the earliest days of their babies’ lives. Their mission is to invest into the next generation by supporting healthy development, avoiding adverse childhood experiences, and breaking cycles of intergenerational poverty.
