How To Recycle Our Bags
We are excited to announce that all our 12oz and 2lb bags are now 100% recyclable! As a B Corp certified business, we are committed to sustainability and a circular economy—where materials are repurposed. In fact, through recycling, some of our bags can get a second life as decks and playground equipment.
Recycling the bags is easy, however, they cannot be recycled in your curbside blue bin. That said, we've made recycling them as simple as possible.
Four Ways to Recycle Your Bag
Bring Them to Our Roastery
If you are in the area, simply drop your used bags into our recycling box at the roastery. We’ll take care of sending them off to NextTrex, a company that turns them into long-lasting products like decking and playground equipment.
Use the NextTrex Program Directly
You can also find drop off locations directly on nextrex.com, scroll to the bottom of the homepage. Click on “Recycle Beyond the Bag” or look for “Find a Drop-Off Location”. Enter your zip code to view nearby collection sites.
Recycle from Home with TerraCycle
For an in-home solution, sign up at shop.terracycle.com to receive a collection box. Fill it with our bags and other non-blue bin recyclables, then send it back once full.

Our coffee bags can be dropped into any of the plastic recycling bins located in most major grocery stores.
