HANDS ON ESPRESSO CLASS
Hosted by First Crack Coffee Education
Learn all the ins and outs of espresso preparation through this in-person class. Taught by certified coffee Q-Grader Collin Bay from First Crack Education, you will come out understanding what it takes to pull a good shot, how to do so consistently, and an approach to diagnosing espresso that doesn't quite taste right. The class will also cover some basic cleaning and maintenance to make sure your machine stays in tip-top shape.
In addition to class materials, each participant will receive a bag of coffee to bring home.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Collin Bay is the owner and co-founder of First Crack Coffee. First Crack is one of the largest coffee educators in the United States and within the international community of specialty coffee. Mr. Bay has been the featured speaker and taught classes at numerous specialty coffee events nationwide including the Colorado Coffee Show, St. Louis Coffee Fest, and regularly at the Specialty Coffee Expo. He is a certified coffee Q-Grader, an SCA Barista Competition coach and judge, and an authorized Specialty Coffee Association trainer.
