HANDS ON PRO BARISTA CLASS

Designed with working baristas in mind, this in-person class takes a deeper dive into the craft behind the bar. We’ll trace coffee’s journey from seed to cup, then shift into a commercial café mindset—covering espresso preparation, milk texturing, and the foundations of latte art. We'll also explore bar workflow and touch on essential machine maintenance to help keep things running smoothly. It’s a practical, skill-building session aimed at sharpening your technique and elevating your day-to-day routine.

Taught by certified coffee Q-Grader Collin Bay from First Crack Education. In addition to class materials, each participant will receive a bag of coffee to bring home.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Collin Bay is the owner and co-founder of First Crack Coffee. First Crack is one of the largest coffee educators in the United States and within the international community of specialty coffee. Mr. Bay has been the featured speaker and taught classes at numerous specialty coffee events nationwide including the Colorado Coffee Show, St. Louis Coffee Fest, and regularly at the Specialty Coffee Expo. He is a certified coffee Q-Grader, an SCA Barista Competition coach and judge, and an authorized Specialty Coffee Association trainer.
