Specialty Instant Coffee
We’ve all been there. On the road, desperate for good coffee, but there's none to be found…and there’s no way to brew your own. We’ve got the cure. Our new line of Instant Specialty Coffees are easy to make, incredibly tasty, and compact traveling companions.
Thanks to our friends at Swift Cup who used their proprietary freeze drying process, our instant coffees’ natural flavors and complexities still come shining through.
Each Box contains 6 packets of freeze dried coffee. To brew, mix one packet of coffee with 10 ounces of hot water.
Don Francisco & Blanca Nieve
This fruit-forward coffee, from the high hills of Jinotega, Nicaragua, is grown by one of our long-time farming partners, Don Francisco and his wife, Blanca Nieve. Bursting with natural notes of peach, tangerine, apple, and pear, it is a perfect fall cup.
Because Don Francisco and Blanca Nieve's farm, El Diamante (The Diamond) is located so high in the mountains, it benefits from a longer growing cycle which means their beans have a slower maturity allowing for the development of more complex coffees. In addition, part of their land is a natural forest with a number of fresh, mountain springs used to wash the coffee.
Having brought in their coffee for more than 6 years, we are always impressed by the consistency and quality of what this family grows. This years harvest is fresh, clean and fruity and will delight our long-time customers who look forward to their new harvests as much as we do.
Don Francisco and Blanca Nieve are part of the Gold Mountain Coffee Growers in Nicaragua, a direct trade social enterprise connecting farmers of high-cupping specialty coffee to roasters such as ourselves.
